Bloggiesta, Olé! #Bloggiesta Starting Line Post @Bloggiesta

Bloggiesta is here again, September 20–22, an excuse to spend time tidying up the blog and share ideas with other bloggers.

Here’s my to-do list for the weekend. I never get my whole list done, because I spend a lot of time visiting and commenting on other blogs, but it’s always fun, anyway!

  • Cut down category list (combine categories?) – Completed!
  • Catch up on audiobook reviews (Mini-reviews?)
  • Add to the page of book lists and readalikes
  • Host a Bloggiesta Mini-Challenge! – Dropped, not completed!
  • Participate in at least one Mini Challenge– Completed!Sat. a.m. update: Chose April’s at My Shelf Confessions
Sun. afternoon: Completed April’s Mini Challenge
  • Create a blog schedule – Completed! (I didn’t even know about WP Editorial Calendar, but thanks to April’s Mini Challenge, now I do!)

Sound like fun? Want to get in on it? Get all the details and sign up at the Bloggiesta Web site. Join in the Twitter chats (@Bloggiesta) or try out a Bloggiesta Mini Challenge!

Good luck with your to-do list. I always seem to add to my list as I go around and visit everyone!

Good list! I love seeing what everyone has to take care of this weekend. It makes me feel like I am not the only one with reviews on the list. LOL!

Good luck Laurie! Combining categories sounds a great thing to do, if potentially difficult. That said, that’s what a dedicated weekend is for 🙂

I am all about mini-reviews! I need to do more of those too! Plus, schedule! I need to make one and stick to it. Good luck!

Looks like a good list. What do you have in mind for a “blog schedule”? I use a paper calendar to keep track of stuff for my “work” blog and it helps a lot.

Rachelia (Bookish Comforts)

Great list! Good luck on your blog schedule — I find that often takes a while to compile! But once you’ve got one set, it’s much easier to work off of. I currently use a spreadsheet in Google Docs and I love it!

Thanks for stopping by my list 🙂

I may still look at more mini-challenges…the ones I saw earlier were too “techie” for me. It was like reading a foreign language…lol.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and enjoy your list.

Jessica @ Books: A true story

Oh I need to combine some categories too! How did I get so many? 🙂 Hope you get caught up on your reviews and everything else on your list.

Good luck on the last day of Bloggiesta! I wish I had the time… Keep up the good work.

Rebecca @ Love at First Book

How are you doing on combining categories?

I know you’re focusing on one mini-challenge, but you can also stop by and enter my Bloggiesta Challenge Giveaway, which you can totally enter even if you don’t complete the challenge!
