If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know this is one of my favorite books of all-time. I read The Orphans of Race Point shortly after reading The Goldfinch, which I also loved, and they struck the same emotional chord with me, although they’re very different novels. When I was one,
I had just begun.
When I was two,
I was nearly new.

I was hardly me.
