Just saw that Sheila of Book Journey will be doing her annual First Book of the Year photo compilation for 2022! My book is supposed to arrive in the mail tomorrow, so I think there will still be time for me to make an announcement and send a photo to Sheila.

Jeeves and the Wedding Bells by Sebastian Faulks

Only a chapter or so to go in Jeeves and the Wedding Bells by Sebastian Faulks, which had been hiding in my home collection.

If you like the Jeeves and Wooster books by P.G. Wodehouse, you will like this delightful homage. I’m going to need to look and see if there are any others by Sebastian Faulks, or any by P. G. Wodehouse that I never listened to on audio, now that I’ve been reminded much I liked these books (usually narrated by Bertram “Bertie” Wooster, but sometimes by his staunchly loyal valet, Jeeves, who can reliably supply an apt quotation, appropriate word, necessary drink, or sensible solution to any crazy scrape Bertie has gotten himself into.)

The Month of Borrowed Dreams (Harper, 2021) by Felicity Hayes-McCoy

I’m reading The Month of Borrowed Dreams by Felicity Hayes-McCoy on my breaks at work and we were given extended holiday weekends off for both Christmas and New Year’s this year, so I’ve been off. Back to work today, though, for a few days. 🙁
