A rushed post because I was away at a Catskills resort for the weekend. (No dirty dancing, of course!) I didn’t read much, but we listened to The Puzzler by A.J. Jacobs in the car.

This post is linked to “It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?” hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date. Check out the link-up party there for more book lists!
I’m reading Mean Baby by Selma Blair, and The Sorrow Stone by Kari Gislason, and The caravan at the edge of doom by Jim Beckett and Words for Lucy by marion halligan. Two nonfiction, a children’s book and a novel.
Nice variety of books! Mean Baby is intriguing, and I’ve added it to my TBR.
Wow, Catskills sounds like fun! We love camping in the Catskills but have never been to a resort there. Is this one of the old, traditional resorts that people used to go to in the 40’s and 50’s? My mom said our family used to go to a Ukrainian resort there when she was a kid!
Looks like some good reading, too. I’d like to read more from Ian McEwan – I’ve only read one novel of his, Saturday. I enjoyed AJ Jacobs’ earlier novels – the one where he tries living strictly according to the bible for a year.
I’m late, but I hope you enjoyed your books this week –

Book By Book
Yes, it was a traditional resort. Updated at some point!
I’ve listened to a lot of A.J. Jacobs’ books on audio. The Puzzler print edition included puzzles, so I liked that the author included audio puzzles in the audio edition!
