A typical day in the life of a book blogger? It’s just one meme after another.
My real life is too dull to write about for the second annual A Day in The Life event, hosted by Trish of Love, Laughter, and a Touch of Insanity, but click on or tap the image to read about more interesting Days from other book bloggers, including the amazing Trish herself!
7 a.m. Every day starts with coffee. This should be enough.
7:30 a.m. Get distracted looking through iPhoto for coffee truck photo. Remember I posted it on Facebook once. Drink more coffee.
8:00 a.m. Get distracted looking on Facebook for coffee truck photo. Drink more coffee.
9:00 a.m. Work on my Bloggiesta to-do list. Visit and comment on other blogs. (The most fun item on my to-do list!)
10:30 a.m. Organize the books I’ve received for review.
11:00 a.m. Maybe today will be the day I will finally link up to Mailbox Monday instead of just admiring Kathy at Bermudaonion’s Mailbox Monday post every week.
12:00 Time for a Reader’s Workout with Joy Weese Moll at Joy’s Book Blog!
1:00 Time for lunch! A nice Greek salad would be just the thing.
2:00 p.m. Check Tanya Patrice’s Master List of Book Blogging Memes on GirlXOXO to see if my salad fits in anywhere. No salad or lunch memes, but I did find this:
Thirsty Thursday & Hungry Hearts @ (un)Conventional Book Views. Write a post that features a quote with food or drinks that showed up in a recent read, as well as if it’s something you think you’d like or not. Then share it in the link-up at the hosts’ blog.
3:00 p.m. Work on Bloggiesta to-do list some more, while keeping an eye on the clock.
5:00 p.m. Time to make dinner from a cookbook I am reviewing. If the dinner comes out well and I remember to take a photo, I can include the meal in my review post and link it up to Weekend Cooking at Beth Fish Reads! (You don’t have to post on the weekend!)
7:00 p.m. Remember the Book Bloggers International #BBIMarch Instagram challenge and run around trying come up with a suitable photo for the day of the month.
8:00 p.m. Well, after putting a good day’s work, it’s time to relax and read. If the book is a good one, will likely stay up too late reading it.
Thanks for reading, and thanks to Trish for hosting A Day in The Life!
Some of you may be wondering what exactly is Bloggiesta and/or when is it?
In short, Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing.
Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks, mariachi music, and whack a pinata or two! It’s nothing short of an awesome fiesta!

I’m laughing! It was a great day, right?
A blog sure can keep you busy! Thanks for the shout out!
I know, right? 😉 You’re welcome! Thanks for coming by and commenting!
Not all that productive, but a lot of fun to imagine!
Love the pictures you found to post! And BTW I always love your weekend cooking posts!
Thanks! I’m hoping to get at least one WC post scheduled this week, because I’m always scrambling to write them AND get them posted on the weekend! 😉
This was fun and a great way to point out so many other blogging events. Loved the coffee part. That’s me – most days. Thanks for sharing this!! LOL
Great post, and I like how you combined this event with Bloggiesta….which I’ve forgotten about for a couple of days…but I have everything checked off my list except Twitter chats. I always wait until the last minute for those. I am not very comfortable with twitter chats.
Love your photos! Thanks for sharing.
I love it! Those are some great gifs!
I had no idea there was a master list of book blogging memes! See how interesting your day just became for me! And coffee! And a whole day of blogging and reading fun!
So much fun. Loved it..
This is such a fun post! I can’t decide which picture is my favorite.
I laugh every time that “book order” truck shows up on Facebook or on a blog, so I think that’s my favorite, but I took the coffee truck one myself on I-95!
Every word is true!
I had seen and forgotten the master list, and just rediscovered it through Bloggiesta!
I haven’t made it to a Twitter chat yet, either. I think tonight is going to be a late one, so I’ll be too tired to participate, although I haven’t done much Bloggiesta-ing today. Thanks for visting!
Now that is my kind of book order!! Love it. The greek salad looks so delicious. I want one.
What a fun post! That sounds like a good day 🙂
Ah, the GIFs are so awesome. 🙂
I’m a fan of the authentic Greek salad…no lettuce!
😉
Thanks for visiting! I’ll be coming by to read your A Day in the Life post…sounds like a fun one!
Coffee is definitely important!
😉
You have the most entertaining Day in the Life post I’ve read! 🙂 I do believe you may have a future as a comic! 🙂 I love the fact that trucks must deliver your book order and your morning coffee! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my posting! I look forward to reading more of your posts! (Accidentally posted this on your “About” page, too!) 🙂
Thanks, Lynn! I appreciate your making the effort to comment twice! 😉
Oh yeah, you had me at coffee. I love the fun pictures, especially of the truck with the Amazon delivery. Every time the UPS truck comes near our house my husband yells, “Did you order another book?”
Haha!!!! Love your take on today and I’m guessing many book bloggers can relate. Love the coffee gifs. I just heated a pot of decaf just so I can have more coffee. Thanks for playing along Laurie. 🙂
You’ve had your work cut out for you visiting all the participants, Trish! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
Yes, with that amount of coffee you’d never need to drink another cup!… Please tell me that book order is one in a few 😉
From what I’ve read about it, it looks like yours was a very bloggiesta-like bloggiesta. Lots done.
Fun day for you! I enjoyed your photos and your links to other blogs. And your card about “I decided to stay up all night…” right on target. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You seem like a very productive blogger 🙂
Thanks for visiting!
Not as much as I had hoped from the list, but did get some things done!
Oh you made me laugh – a great way to finish my afternoon – and I love the look of your Greek salad, which is one of my favourite summer things to eat.
