Day 5 of Armchair BEA already! One of today’s topics is Middle Grade/Young Adult (YA) Literature, so I’m reminding everybody out there who listens to audiobooks that Audiobook SYNC offers two free audiobook downloads every week through the summer. A classic is paired with a YA title every week. (Weeks run Thursday–Wednesday, so sign up for email alerts or text message alerts to remind you!)
This week’s free downloads are James Patterson’s YA suspense novel Confessions of a Murder Suspect(available only in the US, Canada, and the Philippines) and Agatha Christie’s classic mystery novel The Murder at the Vicarage (available except in the UK and British Commonwealth.) Through this partnership between AudioFile Magazine and Overdrive, some of the audiobooks are available internationally, some only to certain countries, depending on licensing agreements with the publishers.
I keep meaning to read more agatha christie. Seems like a good place to start!
Yes, I’m going to download that one, too!
I actually went and signed up before I even commented. 🙂
thanks for the reminder on this! Missed last week but am heading over for this weeks. What an awesome service YA Sync is!
Aaaaand I’m back. Speaking of audio’s…Sherman Alexie reads Diary of a Part-Time Indian. SO good!
Now that you say that, I’ve heard how good the audio is! Maybe I’d better put Diary of a Part-Time Indian on my TBL list instead of TBR.
Yes, it is! I missed the first week, but signed up for the reminders now.
