I have been really interested in reading a Sue Monk Kidd book for a while but haven’t had the opportunity! Thanks for the chance. Let’s see, a quirk about me is that I always accidentally leave a tiny tear at the bottom of at least one page of whatever book I’m reading. It’s just the way I hold the book and totally accidental! 🙂

I just read about this book in Oprah magazine. It sounds really good.

Tanya @ Mom's Small Victories

Thanks for the chance to win this book! My quirk is it takes me longer to read a paper book than a kindle book these days. I have to read with the lights off and in bed. Just me and the words alit on the page. I am too easily distracted if I read during the daylight and from a paper book. I am too spoiled by my Kindle!

Yet, I love the feel and smell of paper books and I cannot help myself in checking out books from the library. It may take me forever to read them but just their presence on my nightstand brings me joy and peace.

I guess one of my most dominant quirks is that I am unable to read one book at a time – I always have to have at least a few in process. Sometimes it’s annoying, but that’s the kind of reader I am 🙂

Thanks for the giveaway, I would like to try something by Sue Monk Kidd.

Melinda @ The Book Musings

I have never read anything by her, so I’m definitely going to enter. Thanks for the giveaway!

Thanks for being part of the blog hop! I read The Secret Lives of Bees and always confuse it with The Death of Bees, another novel that I really loved. Not surprising really, is it?

oh – I love Sue Monk Kidd. Like so many others, I was introduced to her work with The Secret Life of Bees (one of my all-time favorites). Also loved The Mermaid Chair, and am even MORE excited that she has branched out into historical fiction! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. I LOVE literary fiction!
