A typical day in the life of a book blogger? It’s just one meme after another.
My real life is too dull to write about for the second annual A Day in The Life event, hosted by Trish of Love, Laughter, and a Touch of Insanity, but click on or tap the image to read about more interesting Days from other book bloggers, including the amazing Trish herself!
7 a.m. Every day starts with coffee. This should be enough.
7:30 a.m. Get distracted looking through iPhoto for coffee truck photo. Remember I posted it on Facebook once. Drink more coffee.
8:00 a.m. Get distracted looking on Facebook for coffee truck photo. Drink more coffee.
9:00 a.m. Work on my Bloggiesta to-do list. Visit and comment on other blogs. (The most fun item on my to-do list!)
10:30 a.m. Organize the books I’ve received for review.
11:00 a.m. Maybe today will be the day I will finally link up to Mailbox Monday instead of just admiring Kathy at Bermudaonion’s Mailbox Monday post every week.
12:00 Time for a Reader’s Workout with Joy Weese Moll at Joy’s Book Blog!
1:00 Time for lunch! A nice Greek salad would be just the thing.
2:00 p.m. Check Tanya Patrice’s Master List of Book Blogging Memes on GirlXOXO to see if my salad fits in anywhere. No salad or lunch memes, but I did find this:
Thirsty Thursday & Hungry Hearts @ (un)Conventional Book Views. Write a post that features a quote with food or drinks that showed up in a recent read, as well as if it’s something you think you’d like or not. Then share it in the link-up at the hosts’ blog.
3:00 p.m. Work on Bloggiesta to-do list some more, while keeping an eye on the clock.
5:00 p.m. Time to make dinner from a cookbook I am reviewing. If the dinner comes out well and I remember to take a photo, I can include the meal in my review post and link it up to Weekend Cooking at Beth Fish Reads! (You don’t have to post on the weekend!)
7:00 p.m. Remember the Book Bloggers International #BBIMarch Instagram challenge and run around trying come up with a suitable photo for the day of the month.
8:00 p.m. Well, after putting a good day’s work, it’s time to relax and read. If the book is a good one, will likely stay up too late reading it.
Thanks for reading, and thanks to Trish for hosting A Day in The Life!
Some of you may be wondering what exactly is Bloggiesta and/or when is it?
In short, Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing.
Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks, mariachi music, and whack a pinata or two! It’s nothing short of an awesome fiesta!
