The Kinship of Secrets by Eugenia Kim
I’m starting The Kinship of Secrets today for book club next week. I’ve just now discovered that it’s a sequel of sorts to The Calligrapher’s Daughter, so my book group is not going to be happy with me, I’m afraid!
In my defense, publishers tend to downplay this information, right? So people won’t think they need to read the first book before buying the new book.
