I’m on vacation, so I finally have time to do another Top Ten Tuesday post. Seeing Greg’s post on Book Haven reminded me that today’s theme was Comfort Reads. Here are some of my favorite books about groups of friends, as that’s one of my favorite kind of comfort reads. (My list of favorite comfort reads in general would take up at least ten TTT posts!)
This list (alphabetical by author) is a mix of print and audio books, depending on how I read them. They share the theme of a group of friends, but are otherwise pretty different from each other!
The Magicians* (Penguin, 2009) by Lev Grossman
The Gifted School by Bruce Holsinger
All Together Now (also The Hive) by Gill Hornby
The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat* by Edward Kelsey Moore
A Deadly Education* by Naomi Novik
The Thursday Murder Club* by Richard Osman
Still Life* by Louise Penny
All the Things I Meant to Tell You* by Tiffany L. Warren
The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer
